Tender Description: 

Proposal must be made in accordance with the instructions contained in this Request for Proposal for Services (RFPS). 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT:

• Any Contract resulting from this RFPS shall contain UNICEF General Terms and Conditions for Institutional and Corporate Contracts and any other Specific Terms and Conditions detailed in this RFPS. 

INFORMATION:

• Any request for information regarding this RFPS must be forwarded by email to the person who prepared this document, with specific reference to the RFPS number. 
• The Undersigned, having read the Terms and Conditions of RFPS No. LRPS-2022-9170973 set out in the attached document, hereby offers to execute the services specified in this document. 

SPECIAL NOTES:

• VALIDITY OF OFFER: The offer must be valid for minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) days after the Submission Deadline. A Bid valid for a shorter period of time shall not be further considered.
• BID/PO/PAYMENT CURRENCY: Bidders are required to quote in GEL. The Purchase Order (PO) will later be placed in GEL using the United Nations Rate of Exchange in effect on the PO issue date. The Payments will proceed upon the delivery/handover of procured items. 
• PAYMENT TERMS: Offers requesting prepayment or Letter of Credit will not be considered. UNICEF will encourage bank transfer after receipt of supplier's original invoice and delivery acceptance confirmation. 

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS/RESPONSE FORMAT:

• Questions from Bidders: Bidders are required to submit any questions in respect of this ITB at GEO-ML-Procurement@unicef.org, indicating the tender number in a subject field. The deadline for receipt of any questions is 03.02.2022. 

Completing BID FORM: 

• Pages 3-5 of this document should be completed, signed and stamped by an authorized representative of the company;
• Validity of Offer (Page 3): The term of validity of the bid/offer must be correctly indicated. The Bid offering less than 120 days validity shall not be further considered. 
• Pages 4-5 of this document # Prices and Deliveries should be indicated per commodity including all costs (packing, marking, loading, transportation and unloading) and possible discounts (per quantities range) within Tbilisi area. Bidders can bid/indicate for one commodity or all commodities. 

Due to the nature of the tender as well as COVID-19 pandemic situation, for the subject tender, exceptionally, electronic submission of the proposals will be accepted. 

Bidders are requested to send electronic (PDF) copies of their proposals to GEO-ML-Procurement@unicef.org with the tender reference in their email subjects (as demonstrated below):

The Proposals MUST be received at the above email address by 07.02.2022 at or before 18:00hrs (Tbilisi Time). Due to the nature of this tender and the COVID-19 situation, there will be no public opening of the bids. Proposals received after the stipulated date and time will be invalidated. 

IMPORTANT: Bids should be submitted in accordance with the above instructions and using this English document format as prescribed above. Bids received in any other manner, at a different (email) address or in a different format, or which do not respect the required confidentiality, or received after indicated date and time will be INVALIDATED.
