Tender Description:

The Regional Environmental Centre for the Caucasus (REC Caucasus) announces a tender for the renovation of a tourism information center for the Three Alazani Rivers Biosphere Reserve, to be located in the building of the Akhmeta Municipality City Hall.

The tender is announced within the framework of the project: “Biosphere Reserves as a Model for Sustainable Regional Development – Fostering Coordinated and Effective Management of the Three Alazani Rivers Biosphere Reserve in Georgia” (Tender Number: 062/RECC/G/GIZ – 2023-EA-2.17)

This project is financed by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, commissioned by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) of Germany under the International Climate Initiative (IKI).

The goal of the project is to raise awareness about the Three Alazani Rivers Biosphere Reserve and to strengthen the capacity of involved stakeholders, supporting sustainable development and effective, coordinated management of the Reserve.

As part of this, an information space will be created within the Akhmeta Municipality City Hall. 

Scope of Work

According to the attached conceptual drawings, the contractor shall renovate and furnish the designated space within the Akhmeta Municipality City Hall to establish the information center.

Documents to be Submitted

Interested physical or legal persons must submit the following documents:

• Price Table – Based on the attached drawings (Annex 1) and using the price table format (Annex 2), including detailed calculations.
• Prices must be indicated in GEL, including all taxes stipulated by Georgian law, but exclusive of VAT.
• Legal Details – Legal form, name, address, phone number, email, contact person.

Implementation Period:

The work must be completed within two (2) calendar months from the date of contract signing.

Payment Terms:

Payment will be made based on the scope of work performed and accepted.

Format and Language of Tender Proposals:

• Open to both physical and legal persons.
• Late submissions will not be considered.
• Proposals must be submitted in GEL only, and prices must be indicated including all taxes stipulated by Georgian law but excluding VAT.
