Preferred Specimen Volume: 10 ml (random urine collected in and no preservative plastic urine container)
Stability:

  • Room temperature: 7 days
  • Refrigerated: 7 days
  • Frozen: 28 days

Methodology: Ion Selective Electrode (ISE)
Performing Laboratory: 10-AUTOMATED CHEMISTRY
Reference Range: 28 – 272 mmol/L
Lab. Requirement:

  • External Quality Control System (min. 3 years)
  • Internal Quality Control System (min. 3 years)
  • The Laboratory should holds the state accreditation in urine testing and meets the requirements of ISO 15189:2012/2015
